Day 19 - Worst Fight Sequence

All of the epic battles are too awesome, so I’m going with something a little meager.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like Éowyn?!

I never have. I understand how people think she’s a great character and all, especially from a feminist standpoint, and I love that Tolkien wrote such a good character. I don’t know what it is I don’t like about her— maybe it’s just Miranda Otto’s portrayal— but this scene basically exemplifies all of it for me. I feel like I’m being really mean now so I’m not gonna go into more detail lol.

But anyway, I hate this scene, and since it has two people with swords, I’m going to say it qualifies as a fight sequence, and thus it is the worst one. :P

This was probably from a while back, but I agree!!! I used to hate movie!Eowyn with a passion, but after I watched it over and over (…) I realized it was just the swoony eye-batting at Aragorn she does for the rest of the movie after meeting him. She’s okay before that, but all her actions afterwards are dictated by her ‘love’ for Aragorn and it gets pretty icky. Especially since you know she’s like a freshman trying to get the attention of a hot senior and she’s going to fail. XD

Wonderbra | Advertising Design

When tasked with creating a campaign for Wonderbra, my partner and I wanted to focus on one thing: women have the innate ability to distract men. By using geo-targeted media, we purposefully placed ads where there would be a high volume of traffic. The content was also specific to the location. Although this campaign seems male focused, it dually is meant to empower women to own their beauty.

Maglite | Advertising Design

The purpose of this campaign was to promote the reliability of Maglite flashlights. Three print ads were created as well as a non-traditional advertisement. The non-traditional bilboards would have an oversized flashlight on the left side of the road and warning sign on the right. At night, the flashlight would turn on when activated through sensors and light the warning sign.
